We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Microsoft cloud services and security to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing software development and deployment processes while ensuring the security and reliability of our systems.
Responsibilities:
a. Microsoft Cloud Services:
• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure to support scalable and reliable applications.
• Utilize Azure services to deploy, orchestrate, and automate applications and infrastructure.
• Optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness on the Azure platform.
b. Security:
• Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits to identify and address potential risks.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
c. Automation and CI/CD:
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment using tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or similar technologies.
d. Monitoring and Logging:
• Set up and configure monitoring tools to ensure the performance and availability of applications and infrastructure.
• Establish logging and alerting mechanisms for proactive issue identification and resolution.
e. Collaboration and Communication:
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address challenges and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Microsoft cloud services and security.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and resources.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
• Experience with security best practices for cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent is a plus.
