Working Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
• Direct report to CEO and COO for financial forecasts, reports, updates, and suggestions.
• Respond to client’s concerns about their invoices and payables.
• Prepare the operation’s budget through Excel.
• Overseeing bookkeeper’s activities.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
• Perform accounts receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare analysis of accounts as requested.
• Complete year-end closings.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Review and process expense reports.
• Oversee all entries in QuickBooks.
• Communicate with the bookkeeper and accounting assistant to ensure months are closed on time and accurately.
• Import / enter data into our Excel spreadsheets to update budgets and other numbers.
• Update SLI numbers quarterly
• Create all invoices.
Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, finance principles, and financial reporting
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an accountant or in a similar field.
• Very familiar (if not proficient) with Excel and QuickBooks Desktop
• Understands all the notions needed to oversee the financial side of a small business.
Familiarity with ConnectWise is a plus.
