Level 2 – IT Support (Network Administration)

Working Schedule: Pacific Standard Time (Days and Time to be determined once hired.)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage, deploy, and support network infrastructure with a focus on uptime and meeting clients’ business objectives.

• Performing audits of IT infrastructure and creating solutions with our project managers to be implemented, which support the long-term and short-term goals of our clients.

• Supporting Servers and workstations, NAS devices, firewalls, router installs and configurations, and remote access solutions.

• Implement and maintain archives, backup & and disaster recovery systems.

• Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational problems in a timely manner.

• Function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer-oriented team with the ability to effectively perform independently and escalate service issues when needed.

• Responsible for timely and accurate documentation and knowledge transfer with occasional end-user training.

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customers’ needs.

• Review IT publications and online materials to remain up-to-date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be team players with excellent communication skills and can manage assignments independently. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality and team-type attitude to help as needed.

• 4+ years of prior IT experience. Prior experience working for a service provider or consulting firm is a plus.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate by phone or in person.

• Demonstrated written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve successful outcomes in handling difficult situations and working with various customers and management levels.

• Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects to completion.

• Works effectively both as a team member and independently.

• Effectively utilizes tools to resolve issues and escalates appropriately.

• Network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting experience are a must.

• Experience working with Windows 2012R2, 2016, VMware, Hyper-V, and Storage Technologies.

• Cloud Computing experience related to AWS, Azure, and Office 365.

• Microsoft certifications are a plus.
